In Manitoba a water feature has to come down for the season. We build with a basin, plumbing layout and access that let the system be drained, the pump pulled and the feature shut down cleanly every fall, then started again in spring without damage.
A waterfall lives or dies on how the rock is set. We place and shim every stone by hand so the water runs where it should, sounds the way you want it to, and looks like it was always part of the landscape instead of stacked on top of it.
Basins, liners, pump housings and lines are excavated in, buried and hidden under stone. Nothing visible, nothing to trip over, and everything positioned so the pump and valves stay accessible for service.
If a workmanship issue appears within 3 years, including leaks, liner failure or settling in the stonework, we return and fix it at no charge. Written into every project contract, not just a verbal promise.
Tyler Abraham is not a project manager in an office. He is physically on site at every project, setting the levels, placing the stone and tuning the flow in real time. On a water feature, that final tuning is the whole difference.
We do not double-book crews or chase volume. Each project gets the full team's attention. If your timeline is unrealistic, Tyler will tell you and decline the work rather than compromise the result.
A pondless waterfall or bubbling rock gives you the sound and movement of water with no open pool of standing water. The reservoir sits underground beneath the stone, which means no algae to manage, nothing to net over, and a safer feature for families with young children and pets.
For clients who want the full effect, we build lined ponds with waterfalls and streams, sized and shaped to the yard and integrated with the patio, boulder work and planting beds. Filtration, circulation and access are planned in from the start rather than added afterward.
You call or submit a form with your project scope and location. Tyler or a team member responds within one business day with questions and preliminary guidance. If it sounds like a fit, we move to a site visit.
Tyler visits the site, assesses your grade, drainage, access, power supply and sight lines from the patio and the house. He takes precise measurements and photographs, and placement, scale, stone selection and how loud you want the water are discussed in person.
A detailed line-item proposal covers all labour, materials, excavation, basin, liner, pump, plumbing and stone, with a layout plan included. Once approved, we confirm any municipal requirements, lock in a confirmed start date, and order materials.
The most important phase. We excavate to depth, set and level the basin, install and seat the liner, position the pump housing for future access, and run and bury all plumbing and electrical lines before any stone is placed.
Stone and boulders are set and shimmed by hand, the feature is filled and the flow tuned until the water runs and sounds right. Tyler then walks the finished feature with you, explains the warranty, and shows you exactly how to winterize it and start it up in spring before the project is closed.
