Most lawn problems are grading problems. We set slope away from the foundation, eliminate the low spots that hold water, and tie the finished grade into patios, walkways and beds so the whole yard drains as one system. Sod laid over a bad grade will never be a good lawn.
Clay does not grow deep roots. We bring in quality screened topsoil at proper depth and work it into a level, firm seedbed so the sod has something to root into. This is the cost most quotes quietly leave out, and the reason those lawns thin out.
We source fresh, locally grown nursery sod cut for Manitoba conditions and install it the same day it arrives wherever possible. Sod that sits stacked on a pallet in the heat is already stressed before it touches your soil.
Our 3-year workmanship warranty covers the work we control: grading, soil preparation, drainage, and installation. If settling or a grading issue shows up in the lawn we installed, we come back and correct it at no charge.
Tyler Abraham is not a project manager in an office. He is physically on site at every project, checking grade, soil depth and seam work in real time. On a lawn, those three things are the entire job.
We do not double-book crews or chase volume. Each project gets the full team's attention. If your timeline is unrealistic, Tyler will tell you and decline the work rather than compromise the result.
We install locally grown nursery sod bred for prairie conditions, cut fresh and laid with tight, staggered seams then rolled for full soil contact. Sourced from Manitoba growers, it establishes faster and handles our heat, cold, and short growing season better than anything trucked in from a distance.
Before any sod is delivered, we remove the old surface, correct the grade, and build the soil profile. Slope is set away from the foundation and toward the drainage plan, and screened topsoil is brought in at depth so roots have somewhere to go.
You call or submit a form with your project scope and location. Tyler or a team member responds within one business day with questions and preliminary guidance. If it sounds like a fit, we move to a site visit.
Tyler visits the site, assesses your existing grade, drainage, soil and access. He takes precise measurements and photographs, and the lawn area, bed lines, and how the sod meets your patio and walkways are planned in person.
A detailed line-item proposal covers all labour, materials, removal, topsoil, and sod, with a layout plan included. Once approved, we lock in a confirmed start date and schedule the sod delivery to match.
The most important phase. The old surface is stripped and hauled away, the grade is corrected so water moves away from the house, screened topsoil is placed at depth, and the seedbed is levelled and firmed.
Sod is laid in tight staggered rows, trimmed cleanly at every edge, and rolled for full soil contact. Tyler then walks the finished lawn with you, explains the warranty, and provides the watering and first-cut schedule before the project is closed.
